Last updated: 1 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Axeon Technologies FZCO (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit siditools.com, register for a free demo, or purchase a license for SidiFootprint or another Sidi tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your data lawfully and transparently.
1. Data controller
Axeon Technologies FZCO
IFZA Business Park, DDP, P.O. Box 342001
Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Email: mail@siditools.com
2. What data we collect
a) Data you provide — free demo registration
When you request the free 14-day demo, we collect the information you enter in the form: first name, last name, email address and, optionally, your company or website. We use this to create your demo, deliver your download and license, and contact you about your trial.
b) Data you provide — contact and purchase
When you contact us by email we receive your email address and message. When you purchase a license, the order is processed by our payment provider Freemius (see section 5); we receive order and license details (such as name, email, product, and country) but not your full payment-card number.
c) Data collected automatically — usage & analytics
When you use the site we and our providers collect technical and usage data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referrer, and interactions. This is done through cookies and similar technologies, including:
- Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TQ2C9BRGL4) — website usage and traffic analysis.
- Meta Pixel (ID 1285819800395209) and the Meta Conversions API — measuring the performance of our advertising and reaching relevant audiences. This may include a hashed version of your email for conversion matching where you have provided it.
- Strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function and for security.
3. Why we process your data (purposes)
- To provide the free demo, downloads, licensing and product support.
- To process and fulfil purchases and provide customer service.
- To send you information about your trial and, where permitted, relevant product updates. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising (analytics, conversion tracking).
- To ensure the security, integrity and proper operation of the website, and to prevent misuse.
4. Legal basis
Where the GDPR or comparable laws apply, we rely on: consent (for analytics and marketing cookies/pixels and for marketing emails); performance of a contract (to deliver the demo, license and support you request); and legitimate interests (website security, preventing misuse, and measuring our own marketing). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
5. Service providers and recipients
We share personal data only with providers that help us operate the service, under appropriate agreements:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Freemius, Inc. | Checkout, payment processing and licensing (Merchant of Record) |
| Google (Analytics & Ads) | Website analytics and advertising measurement |
| Meta Platforms | Advertising measurement and audiences (Pixel / Conversions API) |
| Our email & CRM system | Sending trial and service emails, managing contacts |
| Our hosting provider | Serving the website and storing server logs |
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates and some of our providers are located in the United States or elsewhere. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses and equivalent measures) as required by applicable law.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law — for example, for the duration of your relationship with us plus applicable statutory retention periods for tax and accounting. Demo-only contacts are removed or anonymized when no longer needed.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. EU/EEA and UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us at mail@siditools.com.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for core functionality and, subject to your consent where required, analytics and advertising cookies/pixels as described in section 2. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through our consent controls.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. However, no transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our website and products are intended for adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
